Seen Him? Alert Issued For Man Wanted In Westchester

New York State Police investigators out of Tarrytown have issued an alert for a wanted man who failed to appear in court to respond to an aggravated DWI charge more than a decade ago.

Luis Avalos, 25, is wanted by New York State Police on a bench warrant following an incident on March 2, 2006. According to police, Avalos was driving on the New York State Thruway in Westchester when he was stopped for speeding. During the subsequent stop, it was determined that Avalos was intoxicated and he was arrested.

Police described Avalos as a 5-foot-4 Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes, weighing approximately 145 pounds.
